All water containing parts of Solardome SA’s solar heaters are made from copper and brass ensuring a solar heating solution that’s not just built to last, but also one that keeps down microbial growth thus keeping your water pathogen free.

Our collectors and geysers are manufactured in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Local production significantly reduces the carbon footprint of our products as there is no need to import and transport from abroad. Materials used are sourced locally. This stimulates our economy and creates employment.

The use of non-ferrous metals such as copper and alluminium in our solar water heating systems (instead of using ferrous metals such as steel) enables us to provide our customers with a product that is completely recyclable and repairable, has a long life cycle, causing less damage to the environment and fulfilling our promise of a "green" water heating solution.
